Walking
Start at the Escalante Visitor Center located at 755 W Main St, Escalante, UT 84726. From the Visitor Center, head west on Main Street until you reach the intersection with State Route 12. Turn left (south) onto State Route 12 and continue walking for about 2 miles. Look for the trailhead to the Hole-in-the-Rock Road on your left. This area may be marked, but it can also be identified by the presence of a dirt road leading into the desert. Follow this dirt road for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the parking area.

Hiking
From the parking area, you will see an unmarked trail leading into the canyon. Begin your hike on this trail, which will take you towards Tunnel Slot. The hike is moderately strenuous, so wear proper hiking shoes. Follow the trail into the canyon for about 0.75 miles until you reach a junction. Take the left path at the junction, which will lead you to the slot canyon. Continue on this path for about 0.5 miles, and you will soon arrive at Tunnel Slot, a unique and narrow slot canyon.
