If you're traveling by car from Great Basin National Park, head south on NV-487 from Baker, NV. After approximately 30 miles, merge onto US-6 E toward Ely. Continue for about 35 miles, then merge onto US-93 S. After that, take the exit onto I-15 S toward Las Vegas. Stay on I-15 S for about 90 miles until you reach exit 95 for UT-20 E toward Cedar City. Follow UT-20 E for about 25 miles until you reach I-15 S again. Continue on I-15 S for another 40 miles, then take exit 258 to merge onto US-89 S. After about 60 miles, turn right onto UT-24 W, which will take you directly into Capitol Reef National Park. The total drive is around 200 miles and will take approximately 4 hours. Make sure to check for any road conditions or closures along the way.
