    Getting There

    Public Bus

    From Heber City, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Wait for the UTA Route 33 bus heading towards Park City. Ride the bus until you reach the Park City Transit Center. Transfer to the UTA Route 3 bus towards Salt Lake City. Stay on the bus until you arrive at the South Salt Lake stop. From there, transfer to UTA Route 2 heading towards the Hogle Zoo. Get off at the Sunnyside Avenue stop, and walk a short distance to 2600 Sunnyside Ave S. The zoo will be on your right.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Heber City. Start on Main Street heading north until you reach the junction with State Route 40. Take a left onto State Route 40, continuing to follow the bike lane. After about 10 miles, turn right onto State Route 224 towards Park City. Continue on State Route 224 until you reach the intersection with I-80. Merge onto I-80 and follow signs to Salt Lake City. Exit at 1300 E and take a left onto Sunnyside Avenue. The zoo will be on your left at 2600 Sunnyside Ave S.

    Walking

    From the center of Heber City, head east on Main Street towards 200 South. Turn right on 200 South and continue straight until you reach the trailhead of the Wasatch Mountain State Park trail. Follow the trail that leads towards the south until you reach the intersection with State Route 40. Cross over to the east side of State Route 40 and follow the pedestrian pathway towards the UTA bus station. From there, take a bus heading towards Salt Lake City, and follow the public bus instructions to reach Hogle Zoo.
