Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Kanab, head west on E Center St toward N 100 E. Continue on E Center St for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with N Main St. Turn left onto N Main St and walk for about 0.2 miles. You will come to a bus stop where you can catch a ride to Fredonia. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for times. Once on the bus, you will travel approximately 20 miles to Fredonia. Once you arrive in Fredonia, get off at the stop closest to the intersection with N Pipe Spring Rd. From there, walk north on N Pipe Spring Rd for about 0.5 miles until you reach Pipe Spring National Monument at 406 N Pipe Spring Rd.

  If you're renting a bicycle in Kanab, start by heading west on E Center St toward N 100 E. Continue straight for about 0.4 miles to the intersection with N Main St. Take a left onto N Main St and continue for about 0.2 miles until you reach the bus stop for Fredonia. Check the local bus schedule to ensure you catch the right bus to Fredonia. Once you reach Fredonia, disembark at the nearest stop to N Pipe Spring Rd. From there, ride north on N Pipe Spring Rd for approximately 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at Pipe Spring National Monument.

  To get to Pipe Spring National Monument using public transportation, make your way to the local bus stop in Kanab that services routes to Fredonia. This is located at the corner of E Center St and N Main St. Board the bus heading to Fredonia, and enjoy the scenic ride of about 20 miles. Once you arrive in Fredonia, get off at the nearest stop to N Pipe Spring Rd. From there, you can either walk or take a bike to cover the remaining distance of approximately 0.5 miles north along N Pipe Spring Rd to reach the monument.
