Walking
From the center of Moab, head north on Main St. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with US-191. Turn left onto US-191 and walk for about 1 mile. As you approach the entrance to Arches National Park, you'll see the entrance sign. Continue along the road which is now Arches Scenic Dr. Balanced Rock will be on your right after approximately 1.5 miles. The walk will take around 30-40 minutes.

Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Moab. Start from Main St and head north towards US-191. Turn left onto US-191 and bike approximately 1 mile until you reach the entrance to Arches National Park. Follow the road as it becomes Arches Scenic Dr. Balanced Rock is about 1.5 miles in on your right. The bike ride should take around 15-20 minutes.
