Walking
From the center of Moab, start at the Moab Information Center located at 25 E Center St. Head east on Center St towards Main St. Turn left onto Main St and walk north for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants. After reaching the intersection with 100 N, continue straight, and you will see the entrance to Moonflower Canyon Recreation Area on your right. The trailhead is approximately 1 mile from the center of Moab.
Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Moab. Start from the Moab Information Center at 25 E Center St. Head east on Center St towards Main St. Turn left onto Main St and bike north for about 0.5 miles. As you continue, keep an eye out for the Moonflower Canyon Recreation Area signs. The bike ride to the trailhead will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed.
Public Transport
Although Moab doesn’t have a comprehensive public transport system, you can look for shuttle services that might operate to popular hiking areas. Check with the Moab Information Center for any available shuttles that may take you to Moonflower Canyon. If you find a shuttle, board it at the designated stop and inform the driver of your destination. The ride may take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
