From downtown Moab, head east on Main Street (US-191) towards 1st South. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with 300 East. Turn right onto 300 East and follow it as it curves into 400 East. After about 0.5 miles, look for the Murphy Trailhead entrance on your left. There will be a small parking area and a trail sign marking the beginning of the Murphy Trail.

If you are renting a bike, start from the Moab Bike Shop located at 100 S Main St. Head north on Main Street and turn left onto 200 North. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 400 East. Turn right and follow 400 East for about 1 mile. The Murphy Trailhead will be on your left. Make sure to secure your bike at the trailhead before starting your hike.
