From the center of Mt. Carmel, head south on US-89. After about 0.5 miles, you'll reach the intersection with UT-9. Turn left onto UT-9, heading east. Continue on UT-9 for approximately 8 miles. You'll pass through the town of Springdale. Once in Springdale, look for signs directing you to Zion National Park. The entrance to the park is located on the right. After entering the park, continue driving until you reach the Big Bend Viewpoint, which is marked along the main road. Note that the viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the canyon and is a popular spot for photos.
