Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mt. Carmel, head south on State Route 89. After approximately 2.5 miles, you will see signs for Kanab. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with US-89. Turn left onto US-89 and continue for about 6 miles. Keep an eye out for the Black Birch Canyon trailhead on your right, just before you reach Kanab. It's a short walk from the road to the canyon entrance.

Biking
If you are biking from Mt. Carmel, start on State Route 89 heading south. After about 2.5 miles, you will reach the junction with US-89. Turn left onto US-89 and bike for approximately 6 miles. The Black Birch Canyon trailhead will be on your right. Be sure to take the necessary safety precautions while biking along the highway.

Public Transport
There is limited public transport in the area, but you can check local shuttle services. If available, take a shuttle from Mt. Carmel to Kanab. Once in Kanab, you can either walk or bike to Black Birch Canyon, which is about 1 mile from the center of Kanab. Follow the signs towards the canyon, and you'll find the entrance easily.
