From the center of Mt. Carmel, head south on State Route 89. Continue straight for approximately 9 miles until you reach the junction with State Route 12. Turn left onto State Route 12 and continue for about 5 miles until you reach the entrance to the Zion National Park. Take a moment to enjoy the views, then exit the park and continue to follow State Route 12. Once you reach the town of Orderville, continue onto State Route 9, which will take you towards Springdale. From Springdale, you can access the shuttle service to Zion National Park, which offers various stops for exploring the area further.
Bicycle
Starting from Mt. Carmel, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Begin by heading south on State Route 89. This route is scenic and offers a good cycling path. After about 9 miles, you'll come to the junction with State Route 12. Continue on State Route 12, where the ride will take you through beautiful landscapes. You can stop along the way to take photos or rest at scenic points. After approximately 5 miles, you will approach Zion National Park. You can explore the park on your bike or take advantage of the shuttle service to visit various sites within the park.
