    Start at the center of Mt Carmel, specifically at the Mt Carmel Visitor Center. Head south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with Highway 9. Turn right onto Highway 9 and continue walking for approximately 1 mile. You will enter Springdale, and the Emerald Pools Trailhead will be on your left side, just after you pass the Zion National Park entrance. Look for the trailhead signs.

    If you have access to a bicycle, depart from the Mt Carmel Visitor Center and head south on Main Street. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Highway 9. Continue cycling for approximately 1 mile. You will enter Springdale and the Emerald Pools Trailhead will be on your left. The ride is scenic, and you may enjoy the views along the way.
