Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mt. Carmel, head east on UT-9 E/Main St. Continue for about 8 miles until you reach the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. Once at the entrance, follow the signs to Farview Point. It will be a short drive or a long walk from the visitor center, approximately 2 miles into the park, with clear signage directing you to the viewpoint.

Biking
If you're biking from Mt. Carmel, take UT-9 E/Main St. heading east for about 8 miles. This route is scenic and relatively easy, but be cautious of traffic. Once you reach the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park, you can bike further into the park towards Farview Point, which is roughly 2 miles from the visitor center. The roads within the park are bike-friendly, so enjoy the ride!

Hiking
For adventurous hikers, you can start from Mt. Carmel and take a scenic trail towards Bryce Canyon. A popular route is to follow the East Fork of the Virgin River Trail, which eventually leads into Bryce Canyon. Depending on your pace, it’s a lengthy hike (approximately 10-12 miles), so make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks. Once you reach the park entrance, follow the signs to Farview Point.

Currently, there is no direct public transportation from Mt. Carmel to Bryce Canyon. However, you may check with local tour operators for shuttle services that run to the national park. If you find a shuttle, it will drop you off at the visitor center, from where you can follow the signs to Farview Point, approximately 2 miles away.
