From the center of Mt Carmel, head southwest on Main St towards the intersection with Highway 89. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with Highway 9. Turn right onto Highway 9 and follow it for about 4 miles. You will pass through scenic landscapes and small roadside attractions. After about 4 miles, you will see signs for Grafton Ghost Town. Turn left onto Grafton Rd, which leads directly to the ghost town. Follow Grafton Rd for about 1 mile until you reach the parking area of Grafton Ghost Town.

If you have a bike, start from the center of Mt Carmel and take Main St south toward Highway 89. Turn right onto Highway 89 and bike for approximately 2 miles. You will find a bike lane along the highway. Continue on Highway 89 for another 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 9. Turn left onto Highway 9 and bike for about 2 more miles. Look for Grafton Rd on your left, turn onto it, and bike for the remaining 1 mile to reach Grafton Ghost Town.
