Getting There

Walking
Start at the center of Mt. Carmel, near the Mt. Carmel Visitor Center. From there, head southeast on Main Street (also known as UT-9). After about 0.5 miles, you will see signs directing you toward Zion National Park. Continue walking along the road until you reach the entrance to Zion National Park. It's approximately a 1-hour walk. Once you enter the park, follow the signs towards the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. The Great Arch is located along this highway, about 2 miles from the park entrance. Be sure to stop at designated viewpoints along the way for stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Biking
If you have access to a bike, you can start at the Mt. Carmel Visitor Center. Cycle southeast on Main Street (UT-9) for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Zion National Park. Once inside the park, continue on the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. The ride to The Great Arch will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your cycling speed. Make sure to take breaks at the viewpoints along the highway for great photo opportunities.
