Getting There

Car
From the Zion National Park Visitor Center, head south on Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. Follow the signs towards the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach the junction with Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. Turn left onto the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway and continue driving for about 10 miles. Look for parking areas along the road near the Great Arch trailhead. Be sure to check for any parking fees or permits required at the visitor center.

Public Transportation
Take the Zion Shuttle from the Zion National Park Visitor Center. Board the shuttle heading towards the Temple of Sinawava. Ride the shuttle until the last stop at Temple of Sinawava, which is about 10 miles away and will take approximately 30 minutes. From there, you will need to hike along the Riverside Walk Trail to connect to the Great Arch trailhead. Be advised that the shuttle operates seasonally, and check the schedule for any fees associated with the shuttle service.

Hiking
To reach the Great Arch from the Temple of Sinawava, follow the Riverside Walk for approximately 2 miles to the Grotto. From there, you will need to find the unmarked trail leading to the Great Arch. This part of the hike can be challenging and requires good navigation skills. Ensure you have a map or GPS device. Remember to wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring plenty of water for this segment of the hike.
