Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mt. Carmel, head south on US-89. Walk along the shoulder of the road heading towards Toquerville, which is approximately 11 miles away. Be sure to stay on the shoulder and watch for traffic. After walking about 1.5 miles, you will come across a small trail on your left that leads towards the Virgin River. Follow this trail until you reach the riverbank.

Biking
Rent a bike in Mt. Carmel and head south on US-89 towards Toquerville. The ride is around 11 miles with a mostly flat terrain. After about 2 miles, you will see signs for the Virgin River. Follow the signs and take the dirt road that leads to the river. Continue biking along the river until you reach the area where Toquerville Falls is located.

Hiking
If you prefer hiking, take the trail that starts from the southern end of Mt. Carmel. The hike will take you through some scenic areas along the Virgin River. You'll have to navigate a bit, so make sure to have a map or a GPS-enabled device. After approximately 5 miles, you will reach the area where Toquerville Falls is located. Follow the sound of the water for the best access to the falls.
