From the center of Mt Carmel, head east on Main Street (Utah Route 9). Walk along Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway (Utah Route 9). Turn left onto the highway. Continue walking for approximately 1 mile until you see the entrance to Watchman Trail on your right. The trailhead is well-marked, and you will find parking available for those who might be driving.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Mt Carmel town center and bike east on Main Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway intersection.
