Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Mt. Carmel, head east on State Route 9 (Zion Park Blvd) for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-89. At the intersection, turn left onto US-89 North. Continue walking for approximately 11 miles along US-89. You'll pass through beautiful landscapes and might see some local wildlife along the way. As you approach Kanab, keep an eye out for the Kanab Visitor Center on your left at 745 US-89. The journey will take about 3.5 hours, so plan accordingly with water and sunscreen.
