Getting There

Public Transit

From downtown Ogden, walk to the Ogden Central Station located at 2350 Wall Ave. Take the FrontRunner commuter train heading south towards Salt Lake City. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Salt Lake Central Station, exit the train and walk to the TRAX light rail station located directly outside the train station. Board the TRAX Red Line in the direction of the University Medical Center. After about 10 stops, get off at the City Center stop. From there, you can either walk or take a rideshare service to City Creek Canyon Road.
Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Ogden. Start by heading south on Washington Blvd towards 24th St. Turn left onto 24th St and continue until you reach the Ogden River Parkway Trail. Follow the trail east until you reach the junction that leads to the Legacy Parkway Trail. Continue on this path until you reach the southern section that leads to Salt Lake City. Follow the path until you arrive at City Creek Canyon Road. This route is approximately 15 miles and provides a scenic view.
Walking

If you enjoy walking, you can start from the downtown Ogden area. Head south on Washington Blvd and continue walking towards the Salt Lake City area. This will take you approximately 40 minutes to an hour, depending on your walking speed. As you approach Salt Lake City, you will need to find your way to City Creek Canyon Road. You can ask locals for directions or use a map on your smartphone to navigate.
