Rim Trail Sunrise Point Trailhead, Bryce Canyon National Park Travel Guide

Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the Bryce Canyon Visitor Center, which is located at 1 Visitor Center Rd, Bryce, UT 84764. Head east on Visitor Center Rd for about 0.2 miles until you reach the junction with Utah Hwy 63. Turn right onto Utah Hwy 63 and continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles. You will pass several scenic viewpoints along the way. Once you see the sign for Sunrise Point, take the marked trail on your left. Follow the trail for another 0.3 miles until you reach the Rim Trail Sunrise Point Trailhead.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start at the Bryce Canyon Shuttle Station, located near the Visitor Center. Take the shuttle to the Sunrise Point stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs toward the Rim Trail. The trailhead is about a 0.1-mile ride from the shuttle stop. Enjoy the scenic vistas as you approach the Rim Trail Sunrise Point Trailhead.

• Shuttle Bus

  From any accommodation in Bryce Canyon City, walk to the nearest shuttle stop. Depending on your location, this could be the Visitor Center or one of the designated stops around town. Board the Bryce Canyon Shuttle and request to be dropped off at the Sunrise Point stop. Once you get off the shuttle, follow the signs to the Rim Trail Sunrise Point Trailhead, which is directly accessible from the shuttle stop.
