Getting There

Public Bus
From the Park City Main Street area, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Park City Transit System, located at the corner of Main Street and Heber Avenue. Board the bus marked for the 'Park City Mountain Resort'. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Silver Star' stop. From there, transfer to the 'Jordanelle Express Gondola' which will take you closer to the trailhead. After disembarking, walk approximately 0.5 miles to the Dog Lake trailhead. Follow the signs for Dog Lake to start your hike.

Walking
Starting from the Park City Library, head south on the Park Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Deer Valley Drive. Turn left onto Deer Valley Drive and follow the path along this road. After about a mile, you will see the entrance to the Dog Lake trailhead on your right. Follow the trail signs to reach Dog Lake.

Bike Rental
Rent a bike from one of the local bike shops in Park City, such as the White Pine Touring or the Park City Bike Shop. Once you have your bike, head down Main Street toward Park Avenue. Turn onto Park Avenue and pedal toward the Deer Valley area. After approximately 2 miles, look for the Dog Lake trailhead signs on your left. Secure your bike at the trailhead's bike rack before starting your hike to the lake.
