Start at the center of Richfield, specifically at the Richfield City Park located on 200 S Main St. From the park, head south on Main St toward W 300 S. Continue walking on Main St for about 0.5 miles until you reach W 500 S. Turn right onto W 500 S and head west for another 0.5 miles. You will reach the intersection of W 500 S and N 400 W. Continue straight onto N 400 W for about 0.2 miles until you reach the end of the road where the trailhead begins.
Hiking
From the trailhead on N 400 W, follow the well-marked trail leading toward The Scout Cave. The hike is approximately 1.5 miles long and will take you through scenic views of the surrounding landscape. Keep an eye out for the trail markers, which will guide you through the terrain. After about 30-40 minutes of hiking, you will arrive at The Scout Cave.
