If you are starting from downtown Salt Lake City, head east on South Temple Street. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and walk north for approximately 0.1 miles. You will see the Salt Lake Tabernacle on your left. The Brigham Young Monument is located just outside the Tabernacle at 15 E S Temple St, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. Look for a prominent statue surrounded by a small garden area.

From downtown Salt Lake City, find the nearest bus stop. You can take the UTA bus route 200 or 21 towards the Salt Lake City Library. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop for Main St and S Temple St. From there, walk east on South Temple Street for about 0.1 miles and you will arrive at the Brigham Young Monument located near the Salt Lake Tabernacle.
