Getting There

  • Car

    From Snowbird, head east on Little Cottonwood Canyon Road (UT-210) towards the junction with Wasatch Boulevard. Turn left (north) onto Wasatch Boulevard and continue for about 6 miles. Merge onto I-215 N via the ramp to Salt Lake City and follow for approximately 8 miles. Take exit 24 for I-15 S toward Las Vegas. After about 2 miles, take exit 307 for 600 S toward downtown Salt Lake City. Continue on 600 S, then turn left onto State St. After a few blocks, turn right onto E South Temple St, where you'll find the Joseph Smith Memorial Building at 15 E S Temple St.

    From Snowbird, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) route 962 (the Ski Bus) towards the Murray Central Station. Ride until you reach the Murray Central Station and transfer to the TRAX light rail system on the Blue Line heading towards the Salt Lake City International Airport. Get off at the Temple Square Station. From there, it's a short walk to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building located at 15 E S Temple St.
