Getting There

Walking
To reach cvma art from the main lodge at Solitude Mountain Resort, exit the lodge and head southeast towards the main road (Big Cottonwood Canyon Road). Turn left onto the road and continue walking along the pedestrian path for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by beautiful alpine scenery and other resort amenities. After approximately 10-15 minutes of walking, look for a small path on your right that leads into the woods. Follow this path for another 0.2 miles until you reach the open area where cvma art is located.

Driving
If you have a car, start from the main parking area of Solitude Mountain Resort. Exit the parking lot and turn left onto Big Cottonwood Canyon Road. Drive for approximately 2 miles, and you will see a small parking area on your right just before a curve in the road. Park your car there, as there is no direct parking at the cvma art site. From the parking area, you will need to walk approximately 0.3 miles on a marked trail leading to the artwork.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, catch the UTA ski bus from the Salt Lake City area towards Solitude Mountain Resort. Disembark at the Solitude bus stop. From there, follow the same walking directions as mentioned earlier: head southeast towards Big Cottonwood Canyon Road, turn left, and follow the pedestrian path for about 0.5 miles to reach cvma art.
