Car
From Solitude Mountain Resort, head south on Big Cottonwood Canyon Road (UT-190) for about 10.5 miles. Turn right onto Wasatch Blvd (UT-190) and continue for 3.5 miles. Merge onto I-215 S and drive for 7 miles. Take the exit for I-15 S toward Las Vegas and continue for about 5 miles. Take exit 308B toward 600 S and merge onto 600 S. Continue straight, then turn left onto State St. Finally, turn right onto E S Temple St, and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building will be on your right at 15 E S Temple St, Salt Lake City, UT 84150.

From Solitude Mountain Resort, walk to the nearest bus stop on Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd. Take the 972 bus towards Salt Lake City. This route will take you to the Salt Lake City Central Station. From there, transfer to the TRAX light rail system and take the Blue Line towards the University of Utah. Get off at the Temple Square station. From the station, walk east on W South Temple St for 2 blocks, then turn right onto S Temple St. The Joseph Smith Memorial Building will be located at 15 E S Temple St, Salt Lake City, UT 84150.
