Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading north on Main Street from downtown St. George. Continue for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Red Hills Parkway. Turn right onto Red Hills Parkway and drive for approximately 1 mile. Pioneer Park will be on your left at 375 Red Hills Pkwy. There is free parking available at the park entrance.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, check the local bus service schedules (SunTran) to find a route that takes you towards Red Hills Parkway. You will likely need to transfer at the St. George Transit Center. From there, take the bus headed towards the Red Cliffs area. Get off at the closest stop to Red Hills Parkway, and walk approximately 0.5 miles west along Red Hills Parkway to reach Pioneer Park at 375 Red Hills Pkwy. Note that bus fares are generally around $1.00 per ride.

• Walking from Nearby Hotels

  If you are staying at a nearby hotel, such as the Best Western Plus Abbey Inn, you can walk to Pioneer Park. Exit the hotel and head east on 300 S, then turn left onto S 1000 E. Continue until you reach Red Hills Parkway. Turn right, and you will walk approximately 1 mile to reach the entrance of Pioneer Park at 375 Red Hills Pkwy. This walk takes about 20 minutes.
