If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in St. George. Head north on Main Street, then turn onto S 700 E, which leads you toward the Virgin River. Follow the bike paths that connect to the Virgin River Trail. Continue riding along the trail until you reach the junction for Cedar Pocket Rd. Follow Cedar Pocket Rd until you arrive at the Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area.

For the adventurous walker, start from the center of St. George. Head east on St. George Blvd and take a left onto S 300 E. Continue until you reach the Virgin River. Follow the riverbank trail heading northeast. After about 8 miles, you will need to navigate to Cedar Pocket Rd. It is advisable to use a map or navigation app to ensure you stay on the right path. Note that this route is quite long and may take several hours.
