Getting There

• Car

  From Sundance, head east on State Route 92. Continue on Route 92 for approximately 7 miles until you reach the junction with US-189. Turn left onto US-189 North and continue for about 3 miles. Then, take the exit toward Provo Canyon/UT-144. Merge onto Old Provo Canyon Road and follow it for about 1.5 miles. The Provo Ice climbing parking will be on your right. There is no parking fee, but ensure to park in designated areas.

• Public Transportation

  From Sundance, you can take a shuttle service, if available, or a local bus to Provo. Check the schedule for the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) buses that service the area. You would need to transfer to a bus that goes to Provo. Once in Provo, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Old Provo Canyon Road. Be aware that public transport may have limited schedules, especially on weekends, so plan accordingly. Costs for bus fare will vary, so check the UTA website for current rates.

• Bicycle

  For those looking to bike, start from Sundance and take State Route 92 east. Follow the same route as cars but be cautious of traffic. There are bike lanes along parts of the route. The ride is approximately 10 miles one way, and you will reach Provo Ice climbing parking. Always wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations. No additional costs unless you need to rent a bike.
