Getting There

Walking
From the center of Torrey, head northwest on UT-24 (Main Street). Continue walking along the sidewalk for about 0.5 miles until you see the sign for Capitol Reef National Park. The Capitol Gorge Trailhead is located just off the main road, to the right. Look for a small dirt road leading into the park; this is where you will find the trailhead.

If you have a bike, start from the Torrey Town Park located on 200 West. Head east on 200 West to reach UT-24. Turn left onto UT-24 (Main Street) and continue north for about 1 mile. The Capitol Gorge Trailhead will be on your right, just off the main road. Follow the small dirt road leading into the park to reach the trailhead.
