Getting There

Walking
Starting from the main intersection in Torrey (where UT-24 meets Main Street), head south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with Scenic Drive. Turn left onto Scenic Drive and continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles. You will enter the Capitol Reef National Park area. The Gifford Homestead is located at the end of Scenic Drive, which should be clearly marked. As you approach, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The homestead will be on your right.

From the center of Torrey, rent a bike if you haven't already. Start at the Torrey Town Park and head south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Scenic Drive.
