Getting There

• Car

  If you are currently in the Uinta Mountains, the most direct route to Fishlake National Forest is to head south on US-191 S from your location. Continue on US-191 S for approximately 45 miles until you reach the town of Nephi. From Nephi, take the exit onto I-15 S and drive for about 24 miles. Then, take exit 225 for US-6 W towards Price. Follow US-6 W for about 28 miles until you reach the junction with UT-132. Turn left onto UT-132 and continue for about 18 miles until you reach the town of Fairview. In Fairview, turn right onto UT-35 and follow it for 16 miles until you reach the entrance of Fishlake National Forest at 115 E 900 N, Sevier, UT 84766.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Fishlake National Forest via public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus or a similar service to Nephi, UT. Once in Nephi, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service to cover the remaining distance to Fishlake National Forest. The taxi from Nephi to Fishlake is approximately 40 miles and may cost between $50 to $80 depending on the provider, so it's advisable to check rates in advance or consider sharing the ride with other passengers.

• Bicycle

  For adventurous travelers looking to cycle, you can take the same route as the car route. Starting from the Uinta Mountains, cycle south on US-191 S, then switch to I-15 S, and continue onto US-6 W. Note that this is a long journey, approximately 120 miles, and requires a good level of fitness and preparation. • Hiking
