Car
From any location in the Uinta Mountains, get onto US-40 E towards Heber City. Continue on US-40 E for approximately 30 miles. Merge onto US-189 S and follow this road for about 12 miles. Then, take the exit toward I-15 S and follow the signs to merge onto I-15 S. Continue on I-15 S for about 40 miles, then take exit 16 toward UT-9 W. Follow UT-9 W for approximately 25 miles until you reach the town of Hurricane. From Hurricane, take State Route 59 S for about 12 miles. Turn left onto Gunlock Rd and follow it for about 5 miles until you reach Gunlock State Park, located at 1450 Gunlock Rd, Gunlock, UT 84733. Note: There is an entrance fee of approximately $15 per vehicle.

Biking
For the adventurous traveler, biking from Hurricane to Gunlock State Park is an option. From Hurricane, take State Route 59 S for about 12 miles. The route is relatively flat but be cautious of traffic as it is a main road. Once you reach Gunlock Rd, follow it for about 5 miles to the park entrance.
