Car
From anywhere in the Uinta Mountains region, use the nearest highway to navigate towards Highland, Utah. If coming from the east (e.g., Kamas), take US-189 south towards Provo. If you are coming from the south (e.g., Provo), take US-189 north towards Heber City. Once you reach Highland, take the exit for 4800 Knight Ave. Follow Knight Ave northwest for about 1 mile, and you will reach Highland Glen Park on your left. There is free parking available at the park.

Starting from central locations in the Uinta Mountains, you may need to first reach a larger city with public transport options, such as Provo. You can take a local bus or shuttle service to Provo. From Provo, board the Utah Valley Express (UVE) which travels towards Lehi. Get off at the Lehi Trax station and transfer to the FrontRunner train heading north to American Fork. From there, you can catch a local bus to Highland, Utah. Be sure to check the local transit schedules for exact timings. Note that public transportation may incur fares, typically around $2-$5 per trip depending on the distance and service.
