Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major road, US-189. From Provo, head east on US-189 for approximately 10 miles. Look for E Provo Canyon Rd and turn right. Continue on E Provo Canyon Rd for about 2 miles until you reach Nunn's Park, which will be on your right. Keep an eye out for park signage along the way.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take the UTA bus route 830 from Provo. Board the bus at the Provo Transit Center and ride it towards the Provo Canyon area. You will need to transfer to a shuttle service or taxi from the nearest bus stop on US-189, as the bus does not go directly to Nunn's Park. The shuttle or taxi will take you the remaining 2 miles to Nunn's Park. Be prepared for potential costs associated with the shuttle or taxi service.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can bike from Provo along the Provo River Parkway Trail which connects to US-189. Once you reach US-189, safely navigate your way along the road to E Provo Canyon Rd. From there, continue biking for about 2 miles until you reach Nunn's Park.

• Hiking

  For the adventurous, consider hiking to Nunn's Park. Starting from the popular trailheads in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, follow the marked trails that lead toward the Provo Canyon area. Ensure you have a good map and check trail conditions before setting out, as this option requires proper hiking gear and can take several hours depending on your starting point.
