Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Vernal, start at the intersection of Main Street and 100 North. Head north on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach 200 North. Turn left onto 200 North and continue for 0.3 miles until you reach 1500 West. Turn right onto 1500 West and follow it for 0.4 miles. You'll then reach a large intersection with 2400 North. Turn left onto 2400 North and walk for about 0.5 miles. As you approach 3250 West, you will see Fort Thornburgh on your right at 2400 N 3250 W.

• Bicycle

  Starting from the Vernal Public Library, head south on 500 East for about 0.3 miles until you reach 100 North. Turn left on 100 North and continue west for 0.4 miles until you reach Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and cycle north for 0.5 miles. Turn left onto 200 North, then right onto 1500 West. Follow it for 0.4 miles and make a left onto 2400 North. Fort Thornburgh will be on your right at 2400 N 3250 W after another 0.5 miles.

• Public Transport

  If you are near the Vernal City Center, you can take the local bus service that operates in the area. Board the bus heading towards the northbound route. Get off at the stop near 1500 West and 200 North. From there, walk north on 1500 West until you reach 2400 North. Turn left and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. Fort Thornburgh will be located on your right at 2400 N 3250 W.
