If you are traveling by car, start by heading to Salt Lake City. You can use the address 'Ensign Peak Trail, Salt Lake City, UT 84103' in your GPS. From downtown Salt Lake City, take North Temple Street heading west until you reach 1000 N. Turn right onto 1000 N and continue until you reach the intersection with 200 N. Turn left on 200 N and follow it until you reach the intersection with 200 E. Turn right and continue until you reach the parking area near the trailhead at Ensign Peak Trail, which is located at the end of the road. Note that parking may be limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) Trax Blue Line to the 'City Center' station. From there, transfer to bus route 9 towards 'Capitol Hill.' Get off at the stop near the intersection of 200 N and 200 E. From this point, you will need to walk to the trailhead for Ensign Peak. Head east on 200 N, then turn north on 200 E, which will lead you to the Ensign Peak Trail. Be prepared for a short uphill walk to reach the trailhead.
