Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading east on I-80 from Salt Lake City. Take exit 145 towards Park City and merge onto US-40 S. Continue on US-40 for about 12 miles, then take exit 4 for Park City. Merge onto UT-248 E (Kearns Blvd) and continue for about 2 miles. Follow signs to Park City Mountain Resort. Once at the resort, park in the main lot and head to the base area.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) bus Route 953 from Salt Lake City to Park City. The bus departs from the Salt Lake Central Station and takes about 1 hour to reach Park City. Once in Park City, transfer to the Park City Transit bus (Route 1) that goes to Park City Mountain Resort. The transit bus will drop you off at the resort's base area.

Hiking
Once you arrive at Park City Mountain Resort, you will need to hike to Jupiter Peak. From the resort base, locate the 'Jupiter Lift' and take the lift up to the top. The lift ride is typically included in your lift ticket, which costs around $50 for a day pass. After reaching the top, follow the marked trail towards Jupiter Peak. The hike is approximately 1.5 miles and can take about 30-45 minutes. Be sure to wear proper hiking shoes and bring water.
