Car
If you are driving from downtown Salt Lake City, take South State Street (UT-89) heading south. After approximately 3 miles, turn right onto E 2100 S. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach S 1300 E. Turn left, and after a short distance, you will arrive at Sugar House Monument located at 1300 E and 2100 S. There is limited street parking available around the monument.
Public Transportation (TRAX Light Rail)
If you prefer public transport, take the TRAX light rail from downtown Salt Lake City. Board the Blue Line (Salt Lake Central to Draper) and ride it to the South Salt Lake Station. Transfers to the Green Line may be required at certain times. From there, you can catch the bus route 9 (Sugar House) to reach Sugar House. The monument is located a short walk from the bus stop at 1300 E and 2100 S.
Public Transportation (Bus)
You can also take the bus directly from various locations in Wasatch Front. For example, if you are near the University of Utah, board the UTA bus route 9 heading towards Sugar House. The fare for a one-way trip is approximately $2.50, and you can pay with cash or a pre-loaded UTA pass. After about 20 minutes of travel, get off at the 1300 E & 2100 S stop, and the Sugar House Monument will be a short walk away.
