From the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, start by heading south on US-191. Continue for about 29 miles until you reach the junction with UT-44. Turn right onto UT-44 and continue for approximately 22 miles. When you reach the town of Orangeville, take a left onto Forest Road 0167B. Follow this road for a short distance, and you'll find Joe's Valley Reservoir on your left. The total driving distance from Flaming Gorge is roughly 51 miles and should take about an hour and a half.
