If you are driving, head to the Alta area in the Wasatch Range. From Salt Lake City, take I-15 South to I-215 East. Follow I-215 to the 6200 South exit, and turn left onto 6200 South. Continue on 6200 South until it turns into UT-210. Follow UT-210 for about 12 miles until you reach the Alta-Brighton Trailhead located at 10351 UT-210, Alta, UT 84092. There is ample parking available near the trailhead.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take the TRAX light rail from downtown Salt Lake City to the 6200 South station. From there, you can catch the UTA ski bus (route 962) that runs to Alta during the ski season and summer months. Make sure to check the current schedule as it can vary. Ask the driver for the stop near 10351 UT-210, Alta, UT 84092, and get off at the closest stop to the Alta-Brighton Trailhead.
