Car
If you are driving, start by entering the I-15 freeway. Depending on your location in the Wasatch Range, you may need to navigate to the nearest freeway entrance. Once on I-15, head towards Salt Lake City. Take the exit for 600 South and head east. Continue on 600 South until you reach State Street, then turn left. City Creek Park will be on your right at 350 State St, Salt Lake City, UT 84103. There is street parking available, but be mindful of parking regulations.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) bus service. Look for the bus number that services the State Street route. You can catch the bus from various stops in the Wasatch Range. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the stop at 350 State St. The park is just a short walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the UTA website for current schedules and fares, as a one-way fare is typically around $2.50.
Public Transportation - TRAX Light Rail
Another option is to use the TRAX light rail system. Find the nearest TRAX station in the Wasatch Range and board the Green Line towards Salt Lake City. Ride the train until you reach the Courthouse Station. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to City Creek Park. Head east on 300 South, then turn right on State Street. The park will be located on your right at 350 State St. Make sure to check the TRAX schedule and fare, which is usually about $2.50 for a single ride.
