Getting There

• Car

  From anywhere in the Wasatch Range, head east on US-40 towards Vernal. Continue on US-40 for approximately 90 miles until you reach Vernal, UT. Once in Vernal, take the exit for 500 W and turn right to head north. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto 2000 S, which will lead you towards the Fantasy Canyon area. Follow the signs for Fantasy Canyon. The last few miles will be on a dirt road, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road driving.

• Public Transportation

  If you're relying on public transportation, take a Greyhound or local bus to Vernal, UT. Once you arrive in Vernal, you will need to use a taxi service or rideshare app (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Fantasy Canyon, as public transit does not provide direct access. The taxi ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic and the road conditions. Be aware that rideshare availability may vary, so check your app for local drivers.

• Biking

  For the adventurous, consider biking from Vernal to Fantasy Canyon. Rent a bike in Vernal, and head east on US-40. After about 5 miles, take the dirt road towards Fantasy Canyon. Please note that the dirt roads can be challenging, so ensure you are prepared for off-road biking. It would be advisable to have a map or GPS with you, as the area can be remote.
