Getting There

Car
To reach Mt. Nebo by car, start on I-15 South. If you are starting from Provo, take I-15 South for about 25 miles. Take exit 250 for US-6 E toward Price. Continue on US-6 E for approximately 14 miles until you reach the junction with UT-132 S. Turn left onto UT-132 S and follow it for about 12 miles. You will see signs for Mt. Nebo Scenic Byway. Follow the signs to the Mt. Nebo trailhead. There is a parking area available at the trailhead, and parking is usually free.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the FrontRunner commuter train from Salt Lake City to Provo. Once in Provo, you will need to take Utah Transit Authority (UTA) bus route 830 heading towards Nephi. The bus will drop you off at the intersection of UT-132 S and US-6 E. From there, it is approximately a 12-mile walk to the Mt. Nebo Scenic Byway. Be aware that this option is less direct and requires careful planning, as bus schedules may vary.
