Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, start by heading to I-80 E from your location in the Wasatch Range. Continue on I-80 E for about 5 miles until you reach exit 129 for Parley's Canyon. Merge onto I-215 N, then take exit 6 for 3300 S. Follow 3300 S until you reach Highland Dr, and turn left. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles, then turn right onto Heritage Way. Parleys Historic Nature Park will be on your left at 2667 Heritage Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84109. There is no entry fee for the park.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Parleys Historic Nature Park via public transportation, start by taking the TRAX light rail system. Board the Red Line train towards the University of Utah at the nearest station to you. Get off at the 3900 S Station. From there, transfer to bus route 220 heading towards 2700 S. Get off at the stop for Heritage Way. Walk about 0.5 miles east along Heritage Way, and you will arrive at Parleys Historic Nature Park. Make sure to check the local transit schedules for the latest timings, and be aware that a single ride fare for the bus is approximately $2.50.

    If you're feeling adventurous and would like to bike, you can use the Jordan River Parkway Trail which connects to various neighborhoods in the Wasatch Range. Head towards the nearest access point of the trail and follow it towards the east until you reach 2700 S.
