Car
If you are driving from central Salt Lake City, take I-15 S and merge onto I-80 E toward Cheyenne. Continue on I-80 E for about 5 miles, then take exit 126 for 700 E. Turn left on 700 E and continue for about 1 mile. Turn right onto 2100 S and you will reach Sugar House Park. The Sugar House Monument is located within the park at coordinates 40.7253° N, -111.8602° W. Parking is available at the park, but be aware that it may incur a small fee during peak hours.
Public Transportation
To reach Sugar House Monument via public transport, take the TRAX light rail system. Board the S-Line at the Central Station in downtown Salt Lake City and ride southbound. Get off at the Sugar House station. From there, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to Sugar House Park. Head south on 1100 E, then turn left onto 2100 S to reach the park entrance. The monument is located inside the park. Note that a one-way fare on the TRAX system is about $2.50.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Salt Lake City. Head south on the bike lanes along 900 E, then take 2100 S directly to Sugar House Park. The park offers bike racks for you to secure your bicycle while you visit the monument.
