Car
If you are driving, start from the center of the West Desert area. Head northeast on State Route 73 towards I-15. Merge onto I-15 North and drive for about 30 miles. Take exit 263 for US-6 East towards Price. Continue on US-6 for approximately 60 miles until you reach the junction with US-191. Take US-191 North towards Vernal. After about 70 miles, turn left onto 500 North Street in Vernal. Follow this road, which will turn into 4000 West, until you reach the end of the road. Continue onto Fantasy Canyon Road, which leads directly to the Fantasy Canyon parking area. The entire journey should take around 2.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.
Public Transportation
Currently, there are no direct public transportation options to Fantasy Canyon. The nearest public transportation is in Vernal. From Salt Lake City, you can take a Greyhound bus to Vernal (check schedules for availability). Once in Vernal, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Fantasy Canyon, which is approximately 30 minutes away. Be sure to check the availability of taxi services in advance, as they may not be frequent.
