Experience Bolo Hauz Mosque

Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Ark Fortress, head southeast towards the intersection of Kosh Madrasah Street. Continue straight until you reach the main road, which is called Rukhobod Street. Turn left on Rukhobod Street and walk straight until you see the Bolo Hauz Mosque on your right. It is located near the Bukhara Citadel and has a beautiful pond in front of it.

    From the Bukhara Bazaar (also known as the Old Bazaar), exit the market and head east on Abdullaziz Khan Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rukhobod Street. Turn right onto Rukhobod Street, and after a short walk, you will see the Bolo Hauz Mosque on your left side, just before the Ark Fortress.

    Start from the Lyabi-Hauz complex. Walk north along the pond until you reach the end of the complex. Continue walking straight on the main path until you reach Rukhobod Street. Turn right onto Rukhobod Street, and you will soon see the Bolo Hauz Mosque on your right, set against the backdrop of the Ark Fortress.

    If you are near the Kalyan Minaret, walk south along the street called Kalyan Street towards the Ark Fortress. Once you reach the Ark Fortress, take a slight right onto Rukhobod Street. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Bolo Hauz Mosque on your right, opposite the pond.
