Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Ark Fortress, exit the fortress and head east towards Bukhara's central area. Walk along Bukhara's main street (N. Khodjaev Street) for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with B. Khamza Street. Turn left onto B. Khamza Street. After approximately 500 meters, you will see the Ismail Samani Mausoleum on your right, nestled in a park area.

    If you are starting from Lyabi-Hauz, walk east along the wide pathway towards the main road (N. Khodjaev Street). Once you reach the main road, turn right and proceed for about 1 kilometer. Look for the intersection with B. Khamza Street, where you will turn left. The Ismail Samani Mausoleum will be about 500 meters down this street on your right.

    From the Bukhara Train Station, exit the station and head north towards the main road (N. Khodjaev Street). Turn left on N. Khodjaev Street and walk straight for about 2 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with B. Khamza Street, turn right. Walk for another 500 meters, and you will see the Ismail Samani Mausoleum on your right.
