Experience Lyabi Khause Square

Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Ark Fortress, head south on Bukhara's main street, Amir Temur Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Navoi Street. Turn left onto Navoi Street and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will soon approach Lyabi Khause Square on your right, marked by its notable historical buildings.

    From Bukhara's famous trading dome, Toki Sarrofon, walk east along the narrow streets. After about 300 meters, you will arrive at the Lyabi Khause Square, which will be directly ahead of you. Look for the beautiful pool and surrounding trees as your landmark.

    If you are at the Bukhara Museum of History and Culture, exit the museum and head west towards the main road (Amir Temur Street). Once you reach Amir Temur Street, turn right and walk for about 700 meters until you reach the intersection with Divan-Beghi Street. Turn left, and Lyabi Khause Square will be just a short distance ahead on your left.

    From the Bolo Haouz Mosque, walk north along the main street (Amir Temur Street) for about 400 meters. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Divan-Beghi Street.
