Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Bus
From Namangan city center, head to the main bus station located at 'Avtovokzal' (near the intersection of Mustaqillik and Babur streets). Purchase a ticket for a bus heading towards Uyci. The journey typically lasts about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Uyci bus station, exit the bus and ask locals for directions to Madina, or look for a taxi or shared minibus that can take you closer. The destination is known locally, and most people will be able to help point you towards it.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the Uyci bus station to Madina, exit the station and head southwest on the main road. Walk for about 1.5 kilometers (approximately 20-25 minutes). You will pass local shops and small eateries. Keep an eye out for signage or locals to guide you. Madina is located at coordinates 41.0226467, 71.8379611, so you can use your phone's GPS to ensure you're heading in the right direction.
Taxi
After arriving at the Uyci bus station, you can also opt for a taxi. Look for a taxi stand outside the station or ask around for a nearby taxi. Negotiate the fare before getting in; it should be a short ride of approximately 5-10 minutes to reach Madina. Ensure the driver understands the destination by showing them the address: '2RCQ+W77, Uyci, Namangan Region, Uzbekistan'.
